Dr. Ahmed Omarjee MBBS (Hons) FRACGP, Cosmetic Physician
After graduating from the University of Tasmania in 1999 Dr. Omarjee followed an interest in surgery and undertook general surgical training at Hobart Hospital and The Alfred hospital.
However, it was actually Dr. Omarjee's exposure to general practice that convinced him of the effectiveness of a holistic approach to patient issues and this led in turn to his practicing in cosmetic medicine. "I realised" he says, "that comparatively minor procedures could have a major impact on peoples overall happiness and I wanted to be part of that".
Dr Omarjee continues his general practice along side his growing cosmetic practice, which is divided between Mildura and Melbourne.
"I still enjoy the broad exposure of general practice but also see the changes in people's personality and outlook on life that many of the new low impact cosmetic procedures can bring and that is very gratifying " he says.
Simon Rosenbaum MBBS, ACCAM (Med)
Dr. Rosenbaum has performed over 2,000 breast augmentations and is a leader in the use of the new tear drop profile inserts which far more closely mimic's a natural breast shape rather than the usual round inserts.
He is also very experienced in "tummy tucks" and has performed liposuction for 15 years.
Dr Rosenbaum is a past head of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australia.
He describes his greatest pleasure in his role as "the satisfaction of seeing people reach their potential."
Venus Bergner Naturopath
Naturopathy is more than a job to Venus. It is a template for life and a guiding passion and you will feel this very quickly when you have a consultation with her.
Venus started her training at Southern Cross University in Lismore and completed this at the Australian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney. A highly qualified naturopath she has an Advanced Diploma if Naturopathy and is trained in: iridology, homeopathy, bush flower medicines, herbalism, nutrition and remedial massage therapy.
While she advises our clients on the big picture of their health and ways to make the "smart choices" that can prevent disease and promote well being Venus also works closely with our medical team assisting clients with their recovery and embracing new life progressions.
Liposuction patients, for example, benefit greatly from a holistic approach to diet and exercise for long term maintenance. Naturopathic treatment can also decrease recovery time from surgery by ensuring the body has adequate hydration levels and essential nutrients to heal effectively and efficiently.
"I am passionate about naturopathy and every day I see the benefits of its holistic approach" says Venus. "The benefit is a better more balanced life and it is my way of improving myself and improving the world."
